Many companies offer the Changing of the Guard tour, but few can guarantee the best vantage points, fully qualified guides and lots of laughter along the way. Also, unlike some companies, we don’t have our guests standing around in the same spot, watching very little and doing nothing. Instead, we follow the various stages of the ceremony (Buckingham Palace, St James’s Palace and Wellington Barracks) so you get to experience the sights and sounds of both the Old and New Guard, and see the very best bits of this timeless tradition. At one point, we even march alongside the ceremonial band as they proceed down The Mall. And yes, it’s as fun as it sounds!
Now, we can’t guarantee that you will see a member of the Royal family (though we do know the best places to do that) and nor can we guarantee the weather – it is London after all. But we can guarantee that this will be a highlight of your trip to London. And if it’s not, if you are in any way disappointed by the experience, you can have your money back. Please be aware that this tour requires good mobility. We’ll be marching quickly with the ceremonial band and there are a few steps to climb and descend.

Start Point
Outside the Green Park tube station, next to the ‘Constance Fund Statue of Diana’ and coffee kiosk. If you are coming by tube, use the Green Park exit. Your guide will be carrying a red Fantastic Walks flag. There are toilets in the tube station.
Start Time
The tour starts at 9.30. Please be there at least 10 mins before the tour starts.
End Point
The tour finishes at Buckingham Palace.
DaysThe tour runs Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and every day in the summer – rain or shine. If the ceremony is cancelled by the British Army, you will get an immediate refund.
